EMACS is the power supply brand of Zippy Technology Corporation, founded in 1983 and based in New Taipei City, Taiwan. Zippy builds micro switches and switching power supplies under both the Zippy and EMACS names, supplying them into servers, network and security appliances, industrial systems, medical equipment and telecommunications hardware. EMACS badged units are typically redundant or hot swap modules specified by the equipment maker rather than bought directly, which is why they turn up inside a chassis carrying another brand on the front.
