Tyco Electronics

Tyco Electronics was the connector and electronic components business that Tyco International separated from the group in 2007, floating it as an independent company. Its foundations were AMP Incorporated, the Pennsylvania connector manufacturer Tyco had bought in 1999 and one of the largest makers of electrical and electronic connectors in the world. The business supplies the physical layer that everything else depends on: connectors, terminals, relays, backplane assemblies and cable systems used across telecoms, industrial and automotive equipment. It adopted the TE Connectivity name in 2011, and hardware from the earlier period is still labelled Tyco Electronics. Tech-Star supplies new and refurbished Tyco Electronics hardware including connector and interface assemblies for telecom equipment. Refurbished Tyco Electronics parts remain in demand because a connector has to match the mating half already fitted, so specification alone is rarely enough. Submit any Tyco Electronics part number via the enquiry form for current pricing, condition information and availability.
