Siemens enterprise communications and Unify

HiPath and OpenScape hardware has carried three owners without a break in the product line.

  • 2008: Siemens moved its enterprise communications business into the Siemens Enterprise Communications joint venture.
  • October 2013: the company rebranded as Unify, inheriting the HiPath and OpenScape lines.
  • October 2023: Mitel completed its acquisition of Unify, so current support runs through Mitel.
